Known by Him

 

“All our knowledge of God begins on his part; we know him because we are known of him.” – Matthew Henry

 

Scripture:  “But now that you know God—or rather are known by God—how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?”  Galatians 4:9

 

This came from our daily reading in Deuteronomy 23:9-25 and Galatians 4

 

Observation:  God knows us.  He is aware of us.  He understands us.

 

Application:  To seek to know God as much as He knows me.

 

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, even when it seems no one else knows or understands us, we know that You know us.  You know everything about us.  You created us.  You know us by name.  You know how many hairs are on our head.  You know us to our very core.  You know us better than we know ourselves.  And even greater than that, You love us!  Lord, may we seek to know and understand you more and more every day.  Through Christ I pray, Amen & Amen.
